 Dr. Kirk Borne speaks about some of the best ideas applied behind data mining and how it  can be applied to our  daily lives. He also talks about the ‘small world phenomenon’ and ‘6  degrees separation’.  Later, he reveals some surprising statistics of big data which promises  that the future world  will be driven by data.



Kenneth speaks on using data available at the granular level. He says every byte of data has some information to reveal, all it requires is an engineer to discover. He says that the data available on planet right now is enough to solve most difficult answers of the questions we are trying to find. Data has made us more powerful.

Susan shares her perspective on the rise of big data and the different ways of using data for its optimal utilization. Data doesn't create meaning, we do. Data offers us a vast ocean of information which has to be churned to extract useful insights.
